Pruitt was obviously displeased with some of the players effort(lack thereof) during the O&W game. I'm sure the buy-in after a total staff transformation isn't even close to 100%...this is a given...

Football is a fast game and it's impossible to watch all 11 guys(or 22) at once...

I, for one, welcome this mentality...

Just curious if anyone noticed blatant lack of effort...going through the motions(besides the crowd :)) ....and who CJP might be referencing?!

I think it is ok for the fans to speculate on this. If players played that poorly to upset the HC it is worth discussing. My guess it was someone on the defense. Any thoughts?

I got the feel that Pruitt wants %100 on every play. To him flat out quit probably means certain players he wanted to see more of didn't perform %100 on every play like he wanted. The man is black and white and I like it. Give it your all or go somewhere else. The diva and pampering days are OVER.

As CJP said, the tape don't lie.

To answer your own question go back and watch the spring game again, one hand hovering over the rewind button.

Jeremy specifically mentioned players who "turned it down" when it came time to hit, who instead of making a good honest effort at contact chose to shy away from it.

So you can look for that in the tape. I don't recall seeing it live, but much easier to pick those kinds of actions out with the rewind button handy.

I'm ok with easing up on a hit... why take a guy out with an injury?

But if they just quit, no effort to close on a play, then yeah those guys need to rethink why they are even out there. JP might be over reacting a bit.

Now... I did see some video tape of the fans... way too many were talking on cell phones, taking selfies, and eating hot dogs. No fights observed, a lot of folks just sitting.

Pruitt needs to look in the mirror if players don’t want to play for him instead of blaming everyone around him (including the fans)for his lake of progress thus far.

Lol well, he didn't recruit these kids sooooo....

We get it, you hate Pruitt. You either A. Bought into MIT Beavers BS and put a bunch of money on the Gruden prop bet or B. You're Barb Jones

I saw too many penalties by the offense in the second half. That could be part of the quit quote.
