I'm going to guess CBJ was under the impression we were going to land Vonn Bell.

it was a PR move. trying to get fans excited when he knew the day was going to be a letdown. best staff in the country remember so far jones has talked alot and been a huge letdown. he already has 2 strikes against him. when we win 4 or 5 games next year might as well start the coaching search again. talk isn't going to help his coaches recruit, win recruiting wars or win games. he needs to figure this out.

How so? Using your logic "Bruce Pearl was once a poor mans Bruce Pearl." The game where he painted the T on his chest, how many NCAA tournaments had he taken the Vols to? Zero.

Bruce had success at a mid-major, CBJ had success at a mid-major AND at a BCS level school.

And as far as shut up and deliver, are you hoping we won't hear form him again until fall practice? I mean what is he supposed to do? I'll tell you so far I'm impressed. When Dooley was hired he didn't talk much and disappeared from signing day until practice started. I don't expect that from CBJ.

Damn people hated Dooley for being negative now people hating on Butch for being positive. I haven't heard Butch doing alot of talking. He has said he will get in done. He didn't say we will get it done in 60 days and have the top class in the country. Give me positive over negative any day.

Get that **** out of here. He still managed to rank behind Vandy. He better get it done in a big way next year, because he has a lot more catching up to do.

Dang you are the WORST kind of Vol fan. Can't even let the guy coach a game before you rant and rave but you'll be the first to jump on the wagon when we do win.
