So, what is the underlying problem here?

Why would they come play for a team that loses to Vanderbilt, when they can play for Saban and get a ring even if they don't play? See past 6 years

(1) Some recruits want to leave the state of Tennessee.

(2) Some recruits from other states don't want to be too far from home.

(3) Other schools may be negative recruiting against us.

(4) Recruit may have grown a fan of another school.

I keep hearing all these big recruits say they were UT fans growing up then spurn us for Clemson and Alabama

I cannot comprehend for the life of me why any solid (3-5) star recruit would NOT want to come to UT right now! Yes, a lot of these kids were young when we had our golden years, and we have stunk for the past 4-5 years. But, we can offer any top recruit IMMEDIATE playing time..in the SEC..in front of 102,000+ fans..tradition, great weather..hot babes..solid academics, NFL factory, etc..the list goes on and on.

So, what is the problem here? Please tell me. How is it that Vandy is pulling in these 4* recruits (Ford and Vandenburg) like its nothing? VANDERBILT!! Hell, Vandenburg committed RIGHT after he got home from his visit!

Our visitors say great things about us, and consider us high. But, we arent LANDING any of these big dogs during/after their visits. They always have to think about it, or talk it over with the family. For instance, take Jaylen Miller. I really thought he'd commit during his visit here after I read what he had to say about UT. He STILL isnt committed! Skai Moore, a stud that knows we REALLY need him, is considering Vandy and some other second rate school. How could you not want to come to Tennessee? What is there to think about? We have EVERYTHING to offer you!

So, I ask, what is the underlying problem here? Why is it so hard for us to reel in a stud recruit, while its easy pickens for Ole Miss, Louiville, Rutgers, Miss State, UNC, Vandy, Pitt and Clemson? I just dont get it...

HONOR THY VOLS...CHERISH THEM...

The Staff is doing an incredible job considering the lack of time, our record, coaching turnover, etc.... with that being said, and the confidence that we are going to end up with a really good class, I do have to say I am a bit surprised we are not closer in on the RB position with Graham. I understand the #1 RB in the country has us in basically his top 2, but its looking like he's going up North. Other than that, I don't really see much considering the time he has had now here at UT. It will be interesting to see if we end up with a descent RB or not.
