if we haven't learned by now that hiring from the Saban coaching pool is a bad idea then we deserve more dismal results. Short of Saban coming here I say NO MORE Saban assistants.

I would rather just keep Dooley. We don't need another up and coming assistant coach. I have serious doubts that Smart would out recruit or even keep up with Saban. Why would a recruit want to come play for a Saban disciple when they can just go play for Saban in the same conference? It would be a big mistake.

Kirby Smart is a product of Saban...I don't trust any former Saban coaches. It's all about him. The coaches under him are just cogs in the wheel, IMO.

Muschamp is doing great right now, but he has a ton of talent and developed a lot more after he left Saban's teams.
