Man we deep :) ...when is the last time we have had this much talent and depth at WR? If P-Will was healthy/eligible it would be even more dangerous! I think this is the year Malone breaks out!

I think he does, though Josh Malone and Josh Smith could push hard. When it's hugely close, and the 1st and 2nd string are going to be rotating out all game long anyway, I usually assume Butch is going to give the upperclassman the start.

Now, if the newer guys were to get ahead and establish some distinguishable separation, then the best man gets the start.

But I think it's gonna be hella close between the 3rd, 4th, and 5th best receivers by the end of fall camp. Which means, I bet Pig and Von and Marquez get the starts.

He's too good of a playmaker to be kept on the bench. You can never have enough playmakers on the field so I would say yes.

Yes, but I think with our stable of WRs, it won't matter who starts. You'll see a lot of changing in and out depending on the game, the matchups, the formation, etc. Von might start but Smith, Pig, Croom (if healthy), North, Malone, Jennings (?), Johnson, etc, etc, will be in and out constantly. Our tempo demands it. We will wear out opposing defenses this year with our pace and substitutions.

So nice to have that problem again.

All the receivers rotate a ton, so a better measurement is number of snaps. He will be one of our main receivers in game one, as far as snaps, whether he takes the first snap or not.

BTW, we will of course win, but BG is going to put up points on us....

FYP....

By points, you mean, late in the 3rd quarter when 2nd and 3rd teams are in, right?

This defense will not allow more than 10, max, and our offense will be just plain ridiculous.
