So the AP poll is out

And how in the world did Vandy beat Georgia. Stats, time of possession everything show Georgia dominating - no interceptions, no fumbles. Looks like GA settled for FG's three times and that was the difference.

Georgia played 2 SEC East games in 6 days. Vandy made few mistakes and just kept it close. Classic SEC upset but look at overall Georgia games and they are struggling. If Vols run the table I expect a couple of nail biters due to grudge matches and possible improvement of other teams.

Georgia crowd was totally stunned as they thought they could get into field goal range and win that one. The allure of Kirby and jim Chaney has worn off.

Florida only has one loss. They should be ranked ahead of Tennessee at this point.

They have beaten Vandy, Missouri, Kentucky, North Texas, and U Mass.

I think they lose 3 of the next 5.

If we want any chance in the playoff picture we will need to not only win out but also dominate in those games. We can't go to the last possession with UscE, we need to win by at least two score. I see Florida losing at least one game, but we need to worry about our games only.

I thought Tennessee would be ranked a little higher. When you get you get beat by 39 though you will drop quite a bit. Also Georgia losing to Vandy didnt help.

You also have to factor in we didn't drop at all after losing last week. People gave us the benefit of the doubt. So losing two in a row gave them the opportunity to essentially drop us for two losses. Or the **** is completely random and these people don't even watch 1/10 of the teams they are voting on.

The AP poll and Coach's poll is useless. Literally used for nothing. Wake me up when the playoff committee releases it's poll.

But! Right now, at this very time, I don't think Tennessee is a top 25 team with the injuries it has. It'll all come out in the wash as the season goes. Just win.

I'm not saying Florida is a better team than Tennessee, obviously. However, it's clear why we're ranked higher. Head to head doesn't matter when you have more losses.

Meh, somewhat. I mean, we did go 5-0 and peaked at 9, which is where we started. lol

Arkansas didn't get blown out by Alabama like we did. Wisc beat a great LSU team. I agree about FSU and OU though.

At this point, our only quality wins are Florida and VT, which may or may not turn out to be quality wins in the end.

I'm not sure if you follow LSU much, but I wouldn't call them "great" by any standards this year. Worst team they've had in a while top to bottom. Having Fournette doesn't fix their other glaring issues.
