The key word there is National media and college world.

And furthermore talk to some of the players...ask them if they are buying in.

I'm more concerned about how the players are responding than what a bunch of morons who type what they think behind a keyboard...and that includes kids like yourself.

I guess some people expect Kiffin to handle himself just like Fulmer. I'll agree, Fulmer would have never gotten upset if someone was late picking him up at the airport and he was losing precious time recruiting. He would have just found a doughnut shop and considered it his lucky day.

no one is asking kiffin to not be energit, enthused, motivated, etc., but what we do want him to do is represent this universty well, SHOW SOME CLASS, and just keep his mouth shut!!!:birgits_giggle::birgits_giggle:

lol.. at least he is getting UT back on the front pages..Hopefully it will pay off in recruiting.. :)

Precisely, cut. (Or is it cutnit?) Kiffin needs to be more carefuly talking about the inner workings of the program but there is no such thing as bad publicity. UT is more likely to get games on TV and/or get mentioned by the big analysts because the head coach is drawing attention to the program.

stop embarrassing yourself, "no such thing as bad publicity"? that's laughable...go ask the peanut company if they enjoy all the bad publicity...i'm sure sales are really spiking...ask the illinois gov. if he has had his political career advanced because of the bad publicity. this is stupidity gone to seed. this is not good...good for you but not good for the program and i assure you the powers that be are not happy with this immature, wreckless behavior...

I think the underlying issue of all this drama from other fans is that they had got used to and like Tennessee being a sleepy 3rd or 4th place team who might stumble into the SECCG every now and then, but not an annual legit threat. Now their secure little world has been rocked. I understand that we still haven't played a game yet, but this coaching staff has to be taken seriously both as recruiters and coaches and there's piss and vinegar coming out of the football program like never seen before. To back that up there's reports of players working harder then they ever have, staff being put on notice that the good 'ol easy days are over and LK himself working like a mad man.

All this has to indicate to any reasonable person that something big could be brewing in Knoxville. Laugh while you can monkey boys!!!

when Kiffin is in court facing criminal charges for killing 42 people(I think that number is correct, it may be more) and hospitalizing much more then I'll say that's bad publicity.

whenever the AD has to come out and "correct" a LIE that the head coach says as "matter of fact" then i promise you there is uneasiness in the upper echalons of the program. i own a business and if one of my "employees" lies to my customer then we "got issues". there are issues withing the inner sanctum, count on it.

What do you do then when one of your employees speaks out and your stock rises?

in this case the stock has not been upgraded...there is a serious pr problem...only time will tell if the stock will rise...oh, by the way, in a little high school in fl...they've sold all tn stock and will tell all their friends to "not buy". oh, but you can spin it any way you want too, but reality hurts.

Wow. What will we ever do without that 1 High School? This will set us back for years. Gee I hope that we can find another to recruit our kids from.

I find it hard to believe you run a business. I find it even more difficult to believe that business could be anywhere close to successful. But you are the one running an upper "echalon" business...who am I to question.

He has national media putting us on the front burners...I promise you our stock is up in a bear market.

Also I find it very difficult to not laugh at anything you type. What grown man ends each post with a smiley face?

those people in that school are all networked and will stick together.

and for the record it is not wise to make enemies with the people you need. whenever, we don't want or need the relationships with high school coaches then we are in big trouble.

What if it is true that the coaches and administration play games with the kids and try to block decisions they make? Why did Eddie Gran and the aunts feel the need to hide the decision and go black ops on faxing the LOI? And, gasp!, the kid still signed with UT.

For one, I think you are giving the HS coaches a little too much credit. And two, if they are playing games then they aren't being fair to the kids and the kids might revolt.

Why are you acting like you are a Vol fan?

On a side note, why do you want your body rated?

I agree with a previous poster. As long as the players are on board and "drinking the kool-aid", i really don't care what the other schools or the media thinks or says. F*** 'em and bring on september.
