So, I go to dinner tonight and my wife (in response to me saying "we got a big game this weekend.") says to our friends "Yeah, we need Kentucky to lose Saturday!".........I was at first speechless, and then realizing the innocence of her statement It seemed that is kinda how it has been the last few weeks......anyway we ended up all laughing about it.

Just so you know how I feal:

"I Need Tennessee to Win, not Kentucky to lose!"

I don't care how you word it, or what implications anyone tries to attach to it, JUST HAVE TENN END UP WITH AT LEAST ONE MORE POINT ON THE SCOREBOARD!

At least your wife knows we are playing Kentucky. My wife couldn't care less.

At least most of you are not down here in GA where everybody is a KY fan this week. Go Vols, shut up the GA fans for us all. (not to mention all the "experts" that say GA is better than the Vols)

Just goes to show there IS a difference between losing and getting beat. I would rather KY get beat on Saturday.

Yeah, my wife wouldn't care if the word sports dissappeared from the English vocabulary.

Still thought it was funny when she said "yeah, we need Kentucky to Lose Saturday!":post-4-1090547912:

I love my wife but she doesn't understand the "love of sports", not just me but everybody she comes in contact with. That is another reason I don't like my father-in-law.
