So how many games will Coach Tyndall's first team win in the 2014-2015 season? It's going to be a rough season,i think Tennessee wins 12-13 games. The recruiting wont be much and not much returning.

It's hard to tell until we have a settled class and without seeing him coach. It could be very different if we brought in JUCO players.

With the players we have now, 18-13 would be a good year.

I'll have to wait til we see who is actually on the team. Current roster, Coach K would struggle to get to 15-15.

It's just a question anybody can take a guess. This will probably the least talented team Tennessee has had for a long, long time.

We still have J Rich and Hubbs was a big time recruit. DT could also make a huge impact as well. All is not lost and we do play in a pretty bad conference. Try not being so pessimistic.

22 wins, makes the NCAA tourney, wins coach of the year, the waste of the last regime is wiped from our memories

Sounds like the expectations of Pearls first team- just hoping for a winning record. They ended up over achieving to a 2 seed

We will know more once he fills out the roster. We can expect a tough year, but I'm an eternal optimist and hope he can surprise a few people and continue our momentum

I agree with the previous poster. To early for this question. Need to wait a couple of weeks and see what happens with the roster then ask this question.

It is impossible to speculate until we know who his players will be, let's watch his scrambling to fill the spots. He has been a scrambler all of his career and he will scramble this year to get his team on the floor. That is what I like about this guy, no gifts from anyone (especially some of the people on this board!), just a hard worker. Just give him some time to get his system in place and recruit some players.

This guy is known for quick improvement of a program, it's one of the reason's he got the job. Next year would have been around .500, but I think he'll do way better than that.

Based on the lack of returning starters. The incoming talent level being unknown at this point and the lack of experience returning it is very difficult to make an objective estimate of what level of success this team will be able to achieve next year. I am probable a little tougher on a new basketball coach then most of you because I played the game and my coach was always in my ear screaming that being a freshman was not an excuse for losing. That being said I will only be giving CDT one year for recruiting. He should be more than capable if he is a good recruiter to start to bring in talent in his second recruiting cycle. He may not win it all his first or second year but I think by then we all should have a very good idea of his overall coaching ability. By the end of his third year at Tennessee we should be able to provide a well educated assessment of his recruiting and coaching abilities. It is a little difficult to make this kind of assessment after 7 days.

I say 15 - 20 and we head to the N.I.T. We also beat up on some S.E.C. teams along the way.

Florida lost about 5 seniors. Vandy was bad this year and will likely be bad next year. etc. etc.

The conference is still weak, so 12 wins would be very bad
