...have both their Men's and Women teams in the Sweet 16.
Expected Barnes to get this team to the 16, so no surprise there but, still proud of Barnes and the team for playing two back to back solid games vs always tough Wofford and University California Liberal Arts school.
As for the Lady Vols, let's face it, nobody but Danny ever heard of Coach Kim Caldwell in the state of Tennessee prior to the announcement, so every game they have won I have been very proud of them. The core 8 stayed and they dismantled a good Ohio State team (UT football team says "THANKS"!) yesterday, so congrats to the team for playing a smart game.
Now the real work begins for both teams. Can each make the Final 4? Yes, but they gotta maintain their pace on both ends of the court.
Buckle up cowboys and cowgirls - gonna be an exciting ride!!
