Ok, anyone on here going? Please speak up. It's not going to be just dad and I and the Pride of the Southland MB is it? As crazy as it sounds, I think we may win this one. You heard it here first.

I just got offered tickets yesterday. I'll be driving in from Atlanta with the little lady. I think you will be surprised at the number of UT fans that travel to the game.

I think this one is winnable too. 3 reasons --

1.) Unlike Alabama, S.Carolina actually turns the ball over, so we likely get a couple chances to stay in the game in the 2nd half due to S.C. mistakes.

2.) S.Carolina doesn't have the same 1-2 punch at RB that Alabama and Oregon have. If we stack the box and force Garcia to throw to win the game, he will make a few mistakes and we may be able to hang around late.

3.) S.Carolina doesn't have J.Jones at WR. I think we had the right defensive game plan against Bama. The problem is that it's really hard to commit guys to blitzing the QB, stacking the box against the run, AND double teaming J. Jones. At some point, something has to give defensively. S. Carolina doesn't have the same caliber threat at WR, so I don't think we get beat in the air like we did against Bama.

S. Carolina NEEDS to be that one game that UT is not supposed to win this year, but does. I think we lose a game to either Vandy, Kentucky, or Ole Miss (my bet is Ole Miss), so we need that S.C. game to have a shot at a bowl this year, which I think is REALLY important for our team.

GBO!

We have been huge underdogs in every game we lost so far. We will now enter a stretch were we will probably still be slight underdogs in some of the games, but not the double digit dogs we have been so far. USCe at home will still be trouble for this young team. LSU was the game we needed, but as long as we win when we are favored this year I will be encouraged!

Tennessee's not going to beat South Carolina. The offense is sputtering, and the defense is pretty bad once they get out of the halftime break.

I honestly think we could win this one.

1 reason only. Ive noticed that were able to move the ball down the field, but we need to score in the red zone or close to it. We don't finish our drives and that is killing us.

Why would you set yourself up for a let down? We won't be able to stop Lattimore if he plays or Alshon Jeffery or Garcia. Just hope we can keep it close after halftime! Be a realist dude...you will have fewer let downs in life if you don't live on Fantasy Island!

The gas pump boy Alshon Jeffery is better than Julio IMO.

I am praying for a miracle game by our team.

Who is going to cover Alshon Jeffrey? Until this is answered it is ridiculous to consider picking UT over USCe.

We have no one to cover Jeffery, so we need to get some kind of pash rush to force Garcia to make some mistakes. Problem is, we aren't very good at that either.

we will not win anything calling qb draws with matt simms!!! our qb and wrs run more than poole does! which is completely stupid!

I thought your pass rush was actually pretty good last night. McElroy was sporting a white and green jersey.

We can win this game if we limit the number of catches jeffery gets. We have to put the pressure on Garica. We also need to establish our running game with poole and that will hopefully set up a passing game.

we're going to lose the following: scar, ole miss, and kentucky. Dear god, if we lose to vandy, i'm quitting my job and i'm going to hike the appalachian trail. I have tix to the vandy game. i cannot drive to nashville and watch us lose that game....

Thank you Lieutenant Obvious. You've been promoted to Captain. We need to limit their best player and run the ball effectively. Who would've thought that was true?

Lattimore should be 100% by next week. He could've played against Vandy but they decided not to risk it. Our backup Maddox still had 140+ yards on the ground.

Alshon is the leading receiver in the SEC this year and catches everything that comes his way. I don't see any drop off in talent between Julio and Alshon. In fact USC has the better overrall receiving corps when you factor in Gurley (who had 13 catches against Vandy) and Ace Sanders.

The defense has been struggling all year but stepped up big time against Vandy. I know it was against Vandy, but we made some changes in our scheme to take away the soft zone we've been using this year.

We may be the best home team in the nation but the worst away team in the nation. That being said I think you guys will play us tough for a while before we pull away...something like 30-17
