There is something about game situations that makes Crompton hold the ball for 2 seconds too long. I counted three times that he threw the ball late, one ended with a completion the other two were over throws. To me it seemed as though he hadn't really improved his timing at all.I thought they both looked pretty good...Crompton was the only one to throw an INT but even Kiffin said that wasn't his fault...We may not have our starter until after the Western KY game...Who knows but I thought Crompton looked good yesterday...Not to say Coleman didn't either but outta the two I thought Crompton looked better
Yeah I'm not saying by any means he looked awesome but he did look good....Stephens I thought did OK for the supporting cast he had, it seemed like when he went out there he kinda stuck with the guys that don't play much, I thought Stephens was guilty of holding the ball a little too long a couple of times too....I was impressed with Brandon Warren yesterday though, not to mention Denarious Moore...They made some great catches..I was happy with what I saw yetserdayThere is something about game situations that makes Crompton hold the ball for 2 seconds too long. Coleman didn't look alot better than Crompton to me. But my guess is he will be able to manage the offense better in a real game situation. I think that's what the decision will come down to and that won't be evident to Kiffin until he sees it on September 5th.
