this is true. especially to a team that you normally play a decent game against. Tenn quit playing in the second half, they were watching KY performed just like we were... the difference is they go front row seats.

Our players quit out there, and this is what they get for that. they looked tired, maybe they need to run a little more.

One day the conference tourneys don't matter, the next day a loss in them can drop you 2 seeds in the tourney. What gives.

How is Villanova a 2? Vandy got beat by double digits in the conference tourney by a team that didn't even make the NCAAs and they are still a 4? hahaha.

I think hatvol is on the selection committee.

This might be the worst bracket the selection committee has ever produced. If there is one thing that needs to change, it's not the size of the field, it's the makeup of the committee. A joke!

While a 6 seed does stink, we need to get it over quickly or SDSU will boatrace us like SW Missouri St did to a Jerry Green team back in 98-99.

The fact of the matter is, you have to beat good teams no matter where you are in the tourney. Pretty much with the exception of the #1 seeds first round games, all other games have good teams playing each other.

See, their shenanigans will still produce a champion. Ours can produce less or more depending on their view of our accomplishments. More dots issues.

Not sure I'd call this a "snub".... Tennessee has been inconsistent at BEST all season and if the Vols even GOT to the sweet 16 this year I would be very surprised.... I don't see UT beating G'Town.

I agree that we should have got a better seed than a 6 but I'm also trying to look at the bright side of things. I think a 6 in the Midwest is a better draw than a 5 or 4 if you look at the bracket. I know SDSU is a hot team but we are the better team and should win, if we don't then that's our problem, not the selection committee's. Also, I think we match up very well with GTown and I personally like our chances against them more than I would have if we would have had to go against Maryland or Mich.St. Plus, being the 6 seed keeps us away from the #1 until the Elite 8.

I know things could have been drawn up better for us, but to be honest making the tournament is all you can ask for. If the players on Tennessee's team really think they are better than a 6 then prove it. All there is left to do is win the games in front of you, and I think that we have a very good chance to do that. Go Vols!

Based on some of the other 5 seeds in this tournament, I really feel like the Vols got screwed a little. Then again, it isn't like they deserved a 2 seed and got a 6...then might have gotten screwed by one single position. I think everyone is just bent out of shape because we got an unlucky draw against a 3 seed that is playing very well right now. Georgetown will beat Ohio State.

No disrespect to all who are Vol BB fans but if they dont get bounced in the 2nd round ill give my sig up to all Vol BB fans to come up with something...
