my 20 years in knoxville taught me one thing, while loyal,
vol fans are not very smart. putting up with fulmer who consistently underachieved and cost us at least 2 other national championships was stupid. fans were satisfied with 9-3 or 10-2 seasons.vol football had the potential
to be a dynasty like the u.now vol fans will settle for
mediocrity.they will continue to fill neyland stadium while we are a horrible football team led by average coaches and a horrible ad. prepare for 10 years of sucking and we will never hire an elite coach unless you the fan base demands it. the way you demand it is by boycotting the games and emptying neyland stadium.until they fire hamilton and hire a saban like coach vol fans will not even sniff a bcs bowl game or sec championship.i for one will be amused watching 100000 FANS fill neyland to watch a 3-9 team.these next 2 years will be the worst in ut history.yeah i know i'm a negavol but ai prefer realistic to negavol

I'm sure there are plenty of bonfires this weekend I suggest you find one and jump in it. Leave a note saying you did it because of our staff. That would probably be the best thing for us all.

Seriously. The key to the Vol success is emptying the stadium? Where do you guys get this stuff. I do agree with one thing, your not very smart

I prefer to call you a fool. Alabama fans didn't exactly empty their stadium when they were struggling and they ended up with Saban. If we don't go and see the team and the results go into the toilet then who the hell will want to coach here again? No one.

Doubtful, since I've never even played the lottery. I just figured since there was a psychic on board I'd try my luck.

What happened to intelligent trolls guys? Some are pretty funny, now we just get these dumbasses that repeat what they hear, over and over.

3-9.. so we can only beat UTM, UAB and Memphis? I guess we're going to lose to a TERRIBLE Vandy team and a UK team that we'll beat just because God wants us to. 5-7 is worst case scenario. Its funny how you talk about dumb Vol fans, but there's a difference between having high expectations based on understanding what we, and other teams, do/dont have, and just flat out blindly believing we'll always be successful.

When talking about dumb Vol fans you may want to look in the mirror my friend.

You really needed to start a new thread for this? Wouldn't it have been easier to post this in one of Hat's threads?

it's got to be the same people at my high school who used to say that if we wanted the school to invite better bands, we should just stop going

....clearly massively lower ticket sales suggests to an administration that the thing needs to be improved,

nothing along the lines of - i dunno - that it's no longer worth the money invested or anything

Maybe you should go find a new team to root for. If "supporting" UT has become so burdensome upon you, I see no logical reason you would continue to remain a fan. I've never fully understood the mindset of those "fans" who can no longer find the pleasure of supprting a university and its teams unless each year they are challenging for the National Championship. It is not the reality of the situation as ALL programs rise and fall and it is certainly not a lack of intelligence to continue one's support otherwise. Its called being a fan...
