We are ranked 24th!!!! While Vandy is ranked 19 with a full class. We still have Vonn Bell, Miller, and Boyd remaining!!!!

Vanderbilt should never--EVER--be ahead of us to the point that we feel a need to celebrate when we "catch up" to them in recruiting.

wow, so you mean all those people saying vandy was recruiting better than Tennessee just didnt understand recruiting?

The fans need to stop worrying about where this class ranks for UT. The only thing that matters is how many quality players a new coach can snag in his first class where he only has two months to sway recruits.

Next year is when you can start star gazing & worrying about ranks again.

When Vandy's class has been rated in the top 25 all season, we haven't had a winning season in 3 years, and our last matchup was a bad loss against Vandy, Im not going to complain about catching up and beating them once again in recruiting. This isn't the same Vandy and it definitely isn't the same UT.

When UT is back to its winning ways, then we can laugh away at Vandy again. Until then, we need to keep things in perspective.

Take away 3 of Vandy's 4 TE's and there class is closer to 80. How many can play at a time?

I'd like to have Nigel Bowden though.

Vandy is beating Texas!!!! Yes Texas!!!!! In recruting!!!! I think we should celebrate because this is the best class Vandy has ever brought in and we are still going to beat it lol.

If your not in the top 10 rankings become a little meaningless. Give me 4 (4/5 star) DT's and I will take them over any offensive heavy top 10-20 class.

Not hating on the thread, but it's sad that we're having to fight with Vandy in recruiting. Tennessee is an all around better football program than Vandy will ever imagine being. History speaks for itself. I understand recently, we haven't been the hottest team, but Butch is breathing life into our football team again. I'm ready for the glory days of competing for championships, and kicking Vandy's ass year in and year out! After getting to know Butch over the past two months, I start to believe more and more that he is the man to bring us back to prominence!

i concur. D lineman is a position UT has difficulty rrecruiting in-state. I would take 3 beast D tackles and a stud RB over anyone. We will annihilate Candy in Neyland! GO VOLS!
