I think Meyer should apologize for the comment that UT obviously wasn't playing to win. It's a direct insult to the players and coaching staff.

But I really don't care in the end, it's better to just not whine about it.

Not surprising. I'm sure this is more intended for UM as the guy has made more excuses and comments since the game ended than Kiffin (can't blame CLK for defending his team even if he is mocking UM in the process). Like it or not UM is supposed to be the national face of the SEC and his comments and attitude after the game are bush-league at best. I didn't see Pete Caroll or Bob Stoops make excuses when their teams got beat (though admittedly they could have blamed it on injuries), those guys gave credit to the other team, admitted their own short-comings and moved on to the next game.

CFL just mentioned that Slive called both coaches. They then proceeded to say that some UF coaches were wearing masks during practice. Blowing this flu thing way out of proportion. I hate UF.

You know who else had the Flu? Colt McCoy and he doesn't look like he missed a beat. Georgia apparently got hit by the bug before the OSU game but MR isn't using that as a crutch for their performance. Seems like a lot of teams are getting hit by the flu and are just dealing with it and not making excuses... except one.

The Flu comments are not as bad as the, they weren't playing to win comments. That is bush league and unnecessary from a coach with two national titles under his belt.

No they aren't but it just shows me his character. The man doesn't even have the class to admit that Lane Kiffin and UT are better than he thought and that it wasn't as easy as they had hoped it would be. You're right from a guy that has two NCs it looks bad.

Ole Miss looked like the flu messed them up against Memphis but Nutt like Richt is not a FREAKING LOSER.

I'll even go so far as to state that Steve Spurrier has more class than CUM, sure he talked a lot of trash and we all hate(d) him for it, but when he lost or his team didn't play well he gave credit to the scheme on the other side of the ball.
