Sorry if there is a thread about this, but I couldnt find one --- was wondering if CBS - ABC and NBC local stations are available on it ? If not what type antenna would be recommended to get those 3 stations if I pay for Sling TV ? I have had it with Comcast cable raising prices -- I will keep their internet but not the cable tv --- all I really care about is the channels the Vols play on and CBS and ABC are 2 of them not showing on the Sling packages

I got ride of tv and just kept the Internet with them. I'm still paying $85 a month for internet.

They sell a variety of antennas at Best Buy for under $50 that will pick up the local channels in HD.

Go to antennaweb.org and do the signal map. That will tell you what type of antenna you'll need to pick up local channels.

Check a couple sites like antennaweb.org and tvfool.com to see how far the towers are and that will dictate the antenna you need. It will also tell you which direction to point it. Mine was about $40 and picks up 60+ channels. Most are kinda useless but we get the networks very strong

I started with Sling when I first cut the cord. Switched over to DIRECTV Now. Recommend that instead. More channels, better interface and picture. Right now you can get 100+ channels for $35/mo locked in and a free AppleTV

I havent ordered it yet but it looks like it is 40 to get the ESPN channels and an extra 10 for sports package with the SEC N in it -- not sure about getting it now -- 50 a month meh

Yeah I am second guessing that one also -- might go with Dishnet for TV and Internet -- if I can figure out all this 'hopper' and Aussie names they have on the website

I get the basic sling package for $20 plus the sports package for $5. The sports package includes all espn channels and sec network, plus many other sports channels.

Thanks. I have charter, and I love the selection and never have a problem with tv reception or internet, but I have to pay a small fortune to get it. Looking for other options

I'm switching back to a Comcast TV package. My internet is $75/month and sling tv with the sports package is $27/month. Comcast has an HD package with the same Blast internet I currently have for $99/month.

That is the standard rates unless they have increased since the beginning of this year. If you pay 3 months up front, they will give you a deal on a roku.

Yes youre right I see it now -- not sure what I was looking at last night
