Slimebaum is whining about CLT

Oh, Paul. The economy? Good ole boy assistants? Alabama's staff makes how much, again? How many of its assistant coaches have prior ties to the Tide? (Answer: Before they joined Nick Saban's current staff, zero).

has finebaum ever written an article that was positive about ut? like, seriously. what did he have to say when we won the nc? that we lucked out?

also, i continue to hear that he caters to his audience, which is ridiculous and shows how unintelligent bama fans must be. there are several sports writers in knoxville who don't always agree with what's going on at ut, and i don't always agree with them, but i respect their opinion. but say, if john adams, who i believe is an lsu grad, always blasted lsu, even when it was obvious they deserved praise, his credibility would diminish greatly, very quickly.

it just seems to me, that finebaum is illogical. he blasts ut for our "spending spree", yet the head coach in his state makes around $4 mill? he then blasts clk for his "lousy" nfl record, but saban didn't do very well in miami either. a poor nfl record doesn't translate into a poor college record, nor does it suggest not a good coach.

the guy disagrees with ut, just for the sake of disagreeing. i thought the objective of sports writers was to be objective, but apparently in alabama, being a sports writer is more about spewing propoganda.

Slimebaum is from Tennessee and graduated from UT---why does he hate the university so much?

Because the only place the pencil head could find a job was in birmingham & he broke the story on Antonio Langham in 93 & he has been sucking up to bammers ever since to make up for it IMO

I don't think its personal with him. He write to stir up emotion and get people to read his garbage and listen to his radio program. The Aub and Bama fans all hate him because he does the same thing to them. But they will refer to his writings if it puts down one of their rivals.
