Calling him a liar, that he didn't leave for money. "You come here because of Saban, and you leave because of Saban", like he's the second coming of Christ.

Yeah, I wouldn't leave for a $225,000 raise either. Pleeze...

Also said what worries him, is that he has Saban's "blueprint", and "trade secrets".

Gimme a break....

But I do love the pain they are going through, even thought they won't admit it. :dance2:

The only way he is afraid of him knowing Saban's blueprints is if Saban's blueprints are full of NCAA violations...hmmm.

Finebaum---bama lover / saban suckup who hates UT---no surprise when he trashes the vols whenever possible.

that is priceless....almost makes me want to listen to his dribble but I can't stand the sound of his voice. Please don't call his show if you are a VOL fan...that show is only good for bammies and slimey's love fest with Sabear....he hates TN, I think because he tried to play football and they benched him....can't imagine that pin head in any athletic situation. I hate that he went to UT....wish he had never told anyone.

I can't get enough of Finebaum. He just like to toy with SEC fans. Obviously he is pretty darn good at it.

I just wanted to listen early today, because he has been off for a few days. I knew he would be all over UT. 20-30 minutes later, I'm done with him.

Well, he was stating that CLT was a liar, that he didn't leave for money, and there had to be some kind of issue with Saban, that he couldn't cut it working for Saban, etc.

The funny thing is that Bammers think it was low class of LT to leave prior to signing day. Wouldn't it be worse if he left after signing day? At least now a kid could change his mind (although I wouldn't expect any to).

Bammers are still having meltdowns on their forums over us hiring CLT...Seeing them in misery just brightens my day.

There was somebody sitting in for Slimebaum yesterday, and I just caught the very tail end of the show on the way home. A caller asked why 'Bama couldn't pay CLT enough to keep him. The host said "because Saban makes $4 million!!". LMAO

Acting as if they're all about following the rules and football protocol in Tuscaloosa. Saban has never met a rule he wouldn't bend to the nth degree and the remainder of the crowd has no problem with simply breaking them all. In that light, I guess Saban's bringing morality to that crowd.

LOVE IT!!! I'll admitt I was one who thought we needed a big name that would take big $$ like 4 to 5 mil a year. Guess Hammy knows what he is doing after all a 2 mil a year coach and a 3 to 4 mil a year staff = WINNING!! (I hope)

Apparently Bama fans think Phil kept us out of NCAA violations.

"He needs to be careful, the NCAA could come sniffing around with the cloak and dagger stuff they are doing - reeks of the old man; not the son. That dad of his will get him into trouble-quick. The great pumpkin isn't there anymore to keep the NCAA out of UT. Don't know how they did it in the first place."

someone suggested Thompson and other coaches are desperate to get out of Tuscaloosa because coaches' wives HATE it there.

I've never been there, but if it's in Alabama it's probably godawful.

obviously there's also the Saban is a control freak thing and he keeps his coaches away from the media.

Doesn't an unhappy bammer equal a lot of happy Vols? And a lot of unhappy bammers equals an elated Vol Nation? Just asking.
