Had 5 catches for 80 yds. and a TD for Tulsa this week. Did CPF miss something here? I know...we don't have anybody that can throw him the ball this year...but he was here last year with Ainge.

Fulmer has shown he cannot manage his personnel. Regardless, Slick Shelley was one of the most overhyped players ever here and belonged nowhere near Neyland. Plus, those supposedly in the know say our current group of WRs have been running open all year.

Yeah, too bad they don't have hands on their feet. If they did we might actually have a few more wins.

The rap on Slick when he was here was that he couldn't get enough seperation and was too slow......funny, the other day Fulmer said Slick always had the ability to get open, makes no sense.......

I'm happy to see the kid doing well though......

Why would we have started Shelly over Meachem, Swain, and Smith? Throw in our TE's that got 45 catches, and there's not much room for some whiny freshman.

He transferred, then 2 years later he's an OK player against the powerhouses Tulsa plays. I don't feel we really missed out on all that much on him, but even if we did, it wouldn't matter the way the QB play has been.

If he was overhyped, why the hell did we sign him? I am so sick of seeing these "so called" 4 and 5 stars that are one of two things. They are either over hyped and we have recruited over hyped players, or they coaches didn't develop them. It has to be one of the two. Take your pick.

It's more that we had better players ahead of him that grasped the offense, and were pretty productive. He was scared he wouldn't get a ton of precious playing time, so he transferred. He didn't want to work for his share of playing time, so he bailed out.

I had a class with the guy when he was here. Nice guy, he would always joke he was slow. Didn't he have a decent o&w game when he was here?

Cobb was a much greater loss. This kid was the cream of the crop in Tenn and we didn't even give him the time of day...
