LOL WOW, I actually talked to Gerald about an hour ago and he told me Slick was leaving or that he had been dismissed.. I decided I wouldnt say anything just in case it hadnt been brought out in the public yet... He'll definately like Malzahn's offense.. I actually became pretty close with Gus when he was at Arkansas because he was recruiting Gerald and 2 others.. We actually base our offense at Millwood on what Gus has done in the past...

:ermm: I hope you're right, theres no reason to keep someone around who the staff determines can't play. But Slick didn't get a chance, either. But, if after Spring, he wasn't heard from, I'll agree with you.

Not necessarily. FSU didn't let Brandon Warren go and now they look like jerks and still won't be getting his services. If a guy wants to leave, you can't force him to stay. Letting Slick go to Tulsa isn't going to indirectly hurt the Vols down the road since we never play them.

That 04 class is becoming a major bust.

It takes a lot to go from a top 5 recruiting class to a major bust. It's shaping up to be worse than '02, if not already.

if you think about it, slick leaving may be a hint of how good the incoming receivers actually are. he would have to be pretty sold on them to just take off and leave like that.
