Site is very Slow Loading

The web site has been very slow for the last few days. It is taking almost a minute to load each page. Is it just me?

Me and a couple others have noticed that the site is REEAALLYY slow ever since the new sponsors and format changed.

I've noticed the same. Its not taking a minute, but its about a 5-10 second delay to load a page. Particularly notice it when accessing a thread or making a poost. Page is orange for that 5-10 seconds, then shows up.

Not horrible, mind you. But definitely noticeably slower than usual.

Same for me, slower for sure.

Mine is slow, but I just added a wireless network for my wifes laptop. Just thought that was the reason.

Guys please keep posting on this. I have not noticed any speed issues on my end but I will not tolerate slow page loads. Please post here if it still happens and exactly when it happens so we can see if it's all the time or just a certain time of day.

My base computer works fine with Volnation.My laptop is fine with Volnation.(side note)I did just get a new modem from Comcast and it sped everyhing up tremendously.Also wanted to point this out as well, Google has an excellent free virus/spyware package they offer.

It detects all spyware. Except their own, of course.

I wasn't able to get on this morning so I am not sure if it could have been our server or the ad server. Please be sure and post in this thread if anyone see's it happening again.

Its doing it again. I was trying to read and post in politics and it was showing a blank orange page for about 5 seconds before anything actually came up.

Went back to main page and it seemed fine.

VN is running perfectly fine on my computer. Maybe its just other peoples slow computers.

I don't seem to be having any problems either but if more than one person is having issues we need to resolve it. Keep posting here as it happens.

I've noticed that it's a tad slower than it was last week. This is the first time on VN since last Tues....and it seems slower....

I have noticed slightly longer loading times. Nothing drastic but slower than it used to be and I'm on Comcast cable hookup.

It is still slow when trying to reply and start a new thread, and sometimes it is good and sometimes it is slow just vieiwing.
