Stephen McCray couldn't wait to show off two new pitches he learned this offseason from pitching coach Jason Beverlin, and it hasn't taken long to see why the senior was so excited.

If McCray will keep the ball down like he has so far, he is going to have a fine season. Having the ability to reach back and get the K when he needs it is a bonus, but i will take ground balls ALL . . .DAY. . .LONG.

I used to tell all my infielders to be ready, that I was going to work like hell to get 27 of them.
