Signature Tower (Nashville)

That is what I was saying. Why would anyone drop that kind of bread to live in a downtown (Nashville) condominium when you can drive 15-20 minutes outside of town and get a decent home with a nice yard and more sf for 400k? I could see if it was NYC or maybe even Chicago, but no reason for any sane person to live downtown for what they are asking when you could do just as well (if not better) in the same area. Heck, 700k in Franklin would go a lot further than it would if you had one of those condos.

Many of the very well to do, do not care for a yard, nor like to be out of town. They prefer being catered to, having things close at hand, being pampered, and a bit of the ostentatious appeals to them as well. Then there is the status symbol, snob factor. For many security and privacy are very important.

If I had 5 million to blow on a condo I would buy one, and buy 8 Belmont girls to cater to my every need. That should bring the grand total so somewhere around 5,000,034.85

Are there taxes on concubines?

Why spend a half million on a condo in downtown Nashville when you can buy estates for the same price?

Estates for $500K? Not sure if you've checked housing prices lately, but you won't find what most would consider an Estate for anywhere near that.
