Not able to re recruit Gaulden and Kelly because they are on the sidelines of other schools. I think that’s been the only negative side effect of our coaches not being on campus and not having a S&C coach

Oh what the heck.

Kelly is one of the lucky ones. His position coach was retained. I'm sure Mr. Kelly and his coach discussed his draft status...a time or two.

If Gaulden doesn't want to play DB for the guy that coached DB's at Bama with Saban, before he was the DC and after what the world saw from that unit the other night, maybe he feels confident about what he's heard regarding his draft status.

And, last but not least...a little while back they invented this thing called a phone and now with all these features like face time...well, it's almost like being there.

I’m not saying that the coaches shouldn’t be coaching in the Playoffs or trying to win a national championship at all. I’m saying that Plthwy aren’t getting the chance to re-recruit players on the squad. If you’re saying that’s not a thing then you’ve never been an athlete on scholarship during a coaching change.

It’s a thing and we will continue to lose kids until this staff can spend time with these players.

It's not a coach's job to recruit players away from the best decision for them.

Kelly should leave! Anybody remember Jason Allen? Played strong safety. Fulmer promised to move him to corner if he came back. During UGA game damn near dislocated his hip and missed several games due to that. Was still a first rounder in NFL draft to Miami but that was w close call that almost cost him millions.
Malone was correct to leave last year with Dobbs leaving. Guess Malone knew that with Dormady at Q B his stats would fall and his NFL stock would fall to.
Remember A Foster went from 3rd round draftable to not drafted?

I think the exodus will speed up once Pruitt is here and the players who were comfy with Butch realize they are going to have to bust tail in the new system. McKenzie and Tuttle? May not go pro, but may consider other options.

Players leave for the NFL even when there is no coaching change. How does that fit into this formula?
