I really hope he gets it straightened out. For his lifes sake not just football. Not just the "drugs" but the attitude problem can be just as bad or worse than the (pot) if thats what it was.

I don't think pot is a big deal I think it gets a bad reputation.

But with that being said, as of right now rules are rules. You have to play by them.

I'm just surprised we actually found out what the reason was. I thought this would be one of those that we forever hear rumors about but never find out the truth.

That happened pretty quickly. And Brown isn't sure DR will see the field Thursday? I realize there's a little bit of a transition but I'd figure they'd get him out there asap.

The most hilarious rumor was the one about the plagiarism. There isn't any way he would be able to academically get into a school if he did, and yet people were passing it off as inside info.

Is it just me, or has it seemed like he has been telling the media for a while that he wants to learn from his mistakes and be more mature? It's like a broken record, only being played with the Tennessee tech media instead of the knoxville media.

Not just you. I also found it interesting that the first coach he speaks to outside of UT, is exactly the guy who he wants to play for and a guy who can help him turn his life around.

I hope that he can. Sometimes you have to get knocked down multiple times to realize that it's you who needs to change.

I personally feel that Mary Jane should be legalized and taxed beyond belief. Clear the prisons, and decrease the debt. That being said, this is about DR manning up and playing by the same rules that every other player on the team has to. He knew he was on a short leash, yet he put himself above the team. Volnation deserves better. I say good riddance. Good for Dooley and Hart for putting team first.

Him being able to play right away at another school doesn't teach him s***

When did we learn that he was suspended? Was it Friday? I can't really remember but he got word to Brown on Friday that he'd be interested in Tech and was there 2 days later attending meetings. Oh well...just thinking out loud.

I'm surprised to see so many people who approve of decriminalization of marijuana on here. Why don't you guys vote?!!?! We need more vocalization in our country.
