SIAP: Battle @ Bristol endangered

What if.............. WHAT IF............. they simulcast 4x games at Talladega? Could you imagine? 6 different fan bases at one large venue? 4 Football fields at the largest race track? Talking about the largest crowd to attend a football game(s)..........:loco:
Cutting edge thinking and perhaps the next big future move off NCAAF to take more $. Down side is set up teams, support and logistics you'd need a well organized army to pull it off. ESPN is probably the only one that could manage the telecasts.

SIAP, but someone else may overtake the attendance record, but nobody can claim to be the first like the Vols Vs. VT. There's only ONE first game.

Good luck with that! Considering that Texas is a 1.5 mile track, and Talladega is even bigger at 2.5 miles. You would need high powered binoculars to see a game played on the infield.

You all really think they are considering this by using both the front stretch and back stretch seating? It's seriously doubtful

I believe they could do it on just the front stretch, but you're not going to break 156,000+ people doing it that way. That's considering its only got a seating compacity of 112,000 people.

The Guinness number was only about 130,000 due to the gates being bum rushed.

No, I highly doubt they would do that. Besides, neither Talladega or Texas Motor Speedway have any seating on the back stretch now.

All they have to do is bring temp seating around the pits
Right, but the amount of temporary seats that it would take is simply not practical. Do we really think they would put 30,000+ temporary seats in? Is that even logistical and practical from an engineering standpoint?

Ft Bragg built a temporary 13k stadium for an MLB game. It can't be that hard

First but never equaled.

Not sure about a bowl game. I'm thinking fans are expecting a premium experience at a bowl game.

By all accounts, B@B was an awesome environment/atmosphere/experience, but not necessarily optimal in terms of fan amenities, view of the field, etc.

The Iron Bowl is not actually a bowl game...

Texas motor speedway has big hoss the world's largest TV screen. Put seats in the infield, sell the video board, and it could happen. Not sure if I would do it for a&m Vs Texas though. Now a&m Vs Oklahoma or tcu is another story.
