Just read on FoxSports Texas Motor Speedway is studying doing a football game. Possibly the Red River Rivalry or Texas/ Texas AM. Also said Talledega is thinking of doing the Iron Bowl.

Good luck at either of those venues. I was at the Bristol game and while it was a great time and kick a$$ atmosphere I will not attend another game at a race track.

First but never equaled.

Not sure about a bowl game. I'm thinking fans are expecting a premium experience at a bowl game.

By all accounts, B@B was an awesome environment/atmosphere/experience, but not necessarily optimal in terms of fan amenities, view of the field, etc.

Dude, go look at Texas Speedway - not gonna happen. you could fit 8+ stadiums in the infield alone.

You'd need telescopes to read jersey names.

Nit was a unique situation with Bristol. The tracks small enough to see a player don't have the seating capacity and the big tracks would be horrible viewing experience.

Full disclosure, I didn't even try to find tickets for BaB because I thought it would not be a great view. I heard it was a helluva party.

I expected to have to use binoculars or watch the screen but I could actually see the action without both. The angles were a lot different so not at bad as most thought they would be in the straightaways alongside the field. The end zone views were probably interesting though.

Let'em. You don't remember the Superbowl with the most attendance, but you remember the first one!

What if.............. WHAT IF............. they simulcast 4x games at Talladega? Could you imagine? 6 different fan bases at one large venue? 4 Football fields at the largest race track? Talking about the largest crowd to attend a football game(s)..........:loco:

It is one thing to want to do something like this. It is entirely a different thing to be able to pull it off.

Never underestimate Bruton. On the other hand the Frances's have screwed up NASCAR so they undoubtedly would screw up a football game at Talledega.

It's one thing to go to a large stadium to watch a football game, it's another to go to a large stadium and stand around not knowing if anyone is playing football because the field is so far away.

Interesting isn't what I'd call my view at Bristol.
