Show Some Class, Dawgs

I have. I went to give a little (10-12?) girl a high five after AU scored on a long play (We were getting out butts kicked), her dad advised her against it! My kid was with me but you better believe, when I stood up and whispered a few choice words in hes ear on the way out, he didn't have anything else to say.

QFT:good!:

I agree. UF has been, by far, my worst experiences. Every time I've been to UGA it has been with dawg friends, so I guess I haven't been in a bad spot there...yet...:)

Sorry to hear that. Maybe her Dad was teaching her not to talk to strangers.

A good friend of mine when to the game on Sat. and was accosted by a UGA fan.

He was going up some stairs back to his seat when the drunken UGA fan blocked his way on purpose and starred him down.

He politely asked him to move. The UGA fan's response: "No, you go around me."

My friend then tried to go around him by pushing with his shoulder. He was met with a fist between the eyes. Both got throw out of the stadium.

Seriously people. Is this really necessary?

this is mainly why i hate losing to georgia so much. for the past 4 or 5 years they've had the worst fans in the SEC IMO.

i was at neyland last week for the game. many of you know at the end of the 3rd quarter football teams hold of 4 fingers to signify the 4th qt. this year niu holds up 5 fingers in memory of the 5 students killed in febs shooting. the 2 vol fans sitting in front of me go theres only four quarters, my gf and i go to niu and she said to them way to be disrespectful, the 5 fingers is for something else they go score board, i wanted to be the crap out of these two *** frat boys, but it wasn't worth getting kicked out of neyland my first time there. oh and saying scoreboard when your beating a MAC opponent by 4 pts you shouldn't say scoreboard bunch of dumb asses in front of me. that goes to show you there idiots in every fan base, some have more than others.

they obviously didn't know what it was for. nothing worth jumping all over them about. now if you told them what it was for, and they continued to make fun, thats different.

Asking GA fan's to show class is like asking a hog not to root in the mud. Ga fans are near the top when it come to worst fans only UF and Bama are ahead of them.

i go to the florida game almost every time they come to neyland and i'll have to say i hardly ever see any of them out of line. most have been nice in my experience.

also, bama fans aren't near as bad as they used to be. this might start changing soon though.

You should try living amongst these people... a while back someone put in our local paper that all these planted Tennessee people with power T's on their vehicle windows should have all their windows busted out.. talk about NO class whatsoever...... they are so over rated, just like those darn gators...

GO VOLS.....
GO BIG ORANGE ..........

I grew up in GA (for the most part) and live here in Atlanta now. Many of my best friends are UGA fans, but I have seen bad ones too. Never seen a game in Sanford, but when alcohol is involved and you have 90K+, the jerks will stand out an find a way to get thrown out.

me and my friend went into the game with dawg fans just waiting to say something. my dad was a fat slob and me and my buddy were 2 queer inbreds, and they asked all of us several times if Tennessee has any plumbing.

You want to see some bad fans, go to a Cardinals game with Cubs gear on when the Cubs visit. I thought I had seen some stuff go down at UT games, but Cardinal fans were horrible. The last game I went to, the Cards won and it seemed like every Cardinal fan had to let me know how much the Cubs sucked on the way out. I just kept looking forward and walked as fast as I could.

All schools have some bad eggs. i have been to every stadium except Miss state. Georgia by far the worse. I will not take my family there every again. I only go with my three best friends and our families stay in Helen Georgia. Funny though since we started that ritual, we havent had any problems from drunken dawg fans. I guess its not as fun to try to pick on four guys who would kick their behind in a second. I agree auburn fans are the best of the sec (other than vols of course ) and have been invited to tail gate many times by them.

I've never had a problem in Athens. Some of them will talk smack, but I usually just laugh, say something worse back to them and then offer them a drink.

I agree. That was one of the most subdued crowds I have ever seen.

This is why I hate UGA more than Bama...not that they're any better....I just want to throw up when I think about them.

A flight of stairs is a pretty stupid place to pick a fight, especially if you've been drinking. But then, he is a UGA fan ;)

they didn't, but they were whispering crap in each others ear the rest of the game. just thought it was disrespectful, but figured wasn't worth getting kicked out.

It was very much like Auburn... cause they were all thinking the same thing... "Oh man we are O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D"

Katrina kept me from experiencing Baton Rouge, but the worst experience I've had was in Gainesville. However, I'm not a big fan of getting barked at (especially by foul-breathed drunkards) and there's still a little dip-cup stain on my seersucker pants from my last trip to Athens. Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, and SC are great places to visit.
