Shout Out To Peyton!

An old classmate and fellow graduate of mine has terminal Pancreatic Cancer. Peyton called to offer encouragement and Prayer for Jeff and his family. His family are huge Peyton fans, so it was cool thing for Peyton to do.

Pancreatic is certainly one of the deadliest types of cancer there is. The girl who introduced me to my wife of 24 years was diagnosed with it. Her husband, a lawyer was able to quickly get her to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment and miraculously, she is alive and well now 5 years later with no sign of it's return so far. There's hope.

I think what amazes about PM is how he has earned a unimagineable level of success and wealth. Yet chooses to neglect that position and reach out and give away to the unfortunate and needy. Sounds like a story I once heard.

Jeff is only 36, and he has a Special Needs daughter. He is in Stage 4, and I think this showed up out of nowhere. It is a very heartbreaking situation.
