Should we fall from our ranking,or have we done enough during the season including going to Memphis and beating the #1 undefeated team in the country.

That mattered last week. Vandy and UK matter this week to the pollsters.

No. We should fall behind UNC and Texas. Unfortunately, we will, although we should not, fall behind Memphis. We will most likely, depending upon how well we play Kentucky, be ranked 5 in next weeks polls.

Its just sickening the typical 4 are still in the Top 10

Do you want to know why should we or why would we? We should not, in the sense that we beat them on their home court. However, we will because we will not receive any votes for number one. UNC, Memphis, and Texas will all receive plenty of 1 and 2 votes, we, along with UCLA, will receive a bunch of 3 and 4 votes.

Well they're always there.

It just gets annoying sometimes,I like when teams like UNC and UCLA have mediocre seasons.:ermm:

They are always there because they are elite programs...They definitely deserve their ranking.

Right now, I would agree. If they played each other 10 times, I would bet that UT would win 6.

However, that does not mean that Duke does not deserve to be in the Top 10, simply that they most likely do not deserve to be ranked ahead of UT.

Yeah they most likely would. Especially with Duke having no inside presense this year.

Duke's 3 point shooting gives them the ability to beat anyone though. Along with solid free throw shooting.

But as posted above, UT gets the nod this year probly 6/10 times.

*And Wake and Miami are far from average. Very good teams that play in an extremely tough conference. They are not teams you want to see in the tourny.

I doubt we'll be above UCLA despite the same record. The press has hyped the Pac-10 way too much this year.
My guess for the AP Poll:
1. UNC
2. Memphis
3. UCLA
4. Texas
5. Kansas
6. Tennessee


I'm not saying its right, its just my guess.

I have a feeling that Texas will be the No. 2 team in the nation come next week. I also think Memphis will drop their game at So. Miss.
