Should UT be scared?

or maybe it means that UCLA has no tacklers on their kicking teams

That's what Im thinking. And like the other posters, Brown and Oku more than make up for him. Now 5'8" 170? I like Nuke, but I dont want him at running back like this kid.

Nah, the coaches didn't want him. I wish the kid the best though since I feel bad they told him to look elsewhere kinda late in the recruiting period. He didn't seem to have any ill will towards UT afterwards either.

As for the possibility of playing for UCLA in the Bruins' Sept. 12 game against Tennessee, Thigpen said, "It will definitely be . . . uh . . . I'll definitely be looking forward to it, how about that?"

I hope he looks forward to the clown stomping we are going to lay on them :).

I bet after the game he will have trouble remembering who knocked him out. Can you imagine EB coming up for run support and putting another de-cleat lick on him! Go Vols!

This article brings back all of my anger from last year. I had almost forgotten how we played defense in that second half. Holy monkey!
I hope we curb-stomp them this year.

If he had gone to TN and the situation had been reversed on the below quote, they would be trying to get us for a recruiting violation. LOL

Eldridge Armstrong, the uncle of UCLA linebacker Isaiah Bowens, called Neuheisel and asked whether the Bruins were interested. Armstrong and Doug Thigpen, Damien's father, are secret service agents.

Neuheisel was interested, and now he has a freshman running back who lately has taken turns with the first-team offense.

Anyways I wish him the best of luck. I too hate that we told him to look else where so late in the recruiting process, but that is just part of the game.

With that said, I don't think he's going to run all over our special teams and defense like he did against UCLA's.

I like what he said at the beginning of the article. At least they know that UCLA didn't win that game last year and that UT lost it.

That UCLA game last year was a total debacle. The PAC 10 fans didn't let SEC fans forget about it. Especially after the BYU massacre of UCLA a couple weeks later.

No kidding, we need to return the favor. This needs to be similar to the Cal game of 2006.

Just putting this out there, how do you all believe are sucess will be recruiting California with kiffin & the herd of elite coaches & recruiters we have. I believe the top notch will go to U.S.C. & we will snatch the second tier ie. 4 stars which i am fine with??

Except keep the foot on the gas until the middle of the fourth quarter. I would have liked, say, 49-7 much more than 35-18.
