One of the few times in my life that I’m glad I’m already on blood thinners for dvts/PEs. Least I would have a start if I got covid and was symptomatic. I had a dr tell me the other day that he thought maybe everyone who is already health compromised ought to be on anti-coagulants

And in some cases, common sense and decency are completely ignored. I have seen some pretty low brow comments on this board over the last several weeks. Even to the point of making jokes and puns at the expense of a young woman who got her head busted open by a pathetic excuse of a man. As for the "advice" that is offered to Trey by this bunch is completely ignored by him and as useful as a screen door in a submarine.
It’s a discussion ABOUT him...not directed AT him. Doubt anybody has his contact number. Right with you on Gooden’s victim btw.

Let me ask you this if you dont want him playing.

Do you want him seeing any friends of his or teammates?

How would you feel if he has been hanging out with people for months now?

How would playing be any different than hanging out with people over the course of a season?
I don’t think there’s anybody that doesn’t want him to play if he can do it safely. You make an excellent point though. The riskiest thing he’s doing is probably being on a college campus in the first place. Not sure how much playing football adds to his Covid risk.

Yeah technically if he hangs out with anybody he is putting himself at risk. Something tells me he hasn't kept himself from friends and family all this time. Also I'm not sure if his condition will actually put him at much risk of anything substantial. Even though he is big- he's still in good shape and young.

The CDC says only 157 people between the ages of 15-24 have passed away and all of them are likely people with severe health issues. The likelihood of any of our guys actually passing away is practically zero. If the stats are right.

He didn’t come back to sit out. He did so to improve his draft position by proving he can play clot free for two consecutive seasons.

A shortened season actually would play to his benefit...for this exact reason.

It's okay everyone. I'm your friendly Volnation Physician and part-time amateur gynecologist. My take:

He should wait for a vaccine unless he wants to accept the greater risk of potential exposure and play regardless. It's his decision.
