I say he absolutely should. He clearly has a pre-existing condition with the blood clots in his lungs. He shouldn't risk his future absent an effective vaccine. No one doubts he loves the Orange. He's already proven that on multiple occasions. I'm just sorry I won't get to see him roughing up the Georgia DL one more time.

Would be interested in what VN thinks.

Why are you already sorry for something that may not even happen?

Maybe you should let Trey decide!

He didn’t come back to sit out. He did so to improve his draft position by proving he can play clot free for two consecutive seasons.

What would be interesting is what his doctors think.

If Football is played in the fall he most likely will play. If they move it back to spring he should be getting ready for the draft.

Would be interesting to hear from a medical standpoint about how much higher Trey's risk is than other players. I'm sure the combination of blood clots and a virus that can cause lasting damage to the cardiovascular system is not good news.

What I think is that everyone will "sit out" this year...

I'll leave it up to Trey and his trusted medical staff who have gotten him to where he is today.

I think Trey needs to make that decision and as the team leader whatever he decides will be the right one!

What do they do if everyone has to sit out a year? Does everyone get an extra year? Just seniors, or maybe seniors and people who have used a red shirt year?

Age isn't as big of a factor for the NFL as it is in the NBA. Obviously a lot of Juniors get drafted pretty high, but those are the elite ones anyway. Who knows man, it's a weird situation.

I'd imagine we would have to hire a team of oxen to keep Trey off the field this fall. After seeing his determination, courage, and grit I think he would literally laugh in your face at such a suggestion.

He probably has just as much of a chance at contracting the virus playing football than if he didn't, that is unless he quarantiens himself for the next year.
