The problem is not the recruits that UT brings in, it is the coaches. Darr was the #1 punter in the nation when he came here. And Parlardy was the the best place kicker in the country. The problem is that the coaching staff does not have the ability to coach the position. Much like the RB position that Dooley totally ignored for his first two years. You have to have someone on the staff that knows something about kicking.
I do not know personally, but have heard from a couple people that the coaches let the kickers go practice by themselves at practice.
Sort of like you play with yourself by making idiotic posts?
