Should Tennessee jump too?

Had a conversation with some VT fans about both schools bringing their traditions to the Battle at Bristol.

Everyone knows that VT comes out to Enter Sandman, and their fans go crazy for it, and jump up and down.

If they do it at Bristol, should Tennessee jump too?

Why the heck would they?!

First of all, it's a great song but a clichéd, overplayed, copycat entrance. Second of all, it's not ours.

The Badgers jump. They are the only ones who make it look cool. And it happens after the game.

I always feel a little bad for the kids in the band at places like VT and South Carolina who are stuck on the field like traffic cones during entrances and forced to just stand there while music gets piped into the stadium.

For the record, I reasoned with them that I would jump with them as long as Tennessee didn't bring back 3rd Down For What

I told them that I didn't think Tennessee fans would go for it.

That's cool. I'm just saying, IMO anyone that reads your OP is going to think the same thing dude said....they'll think you are all for it...at least until they read further into the thread. I thought you were too. I was coming in to mock you along with everyone else. Now I have to leave disappointed.

Ha! I definitely see that now. The topic has been banging around in my head, and it's the offseason, so I figured why the hell not. I didn't want the thread to be a "cool story bro" and I didn't want to influence votes. It wasn't until I saw the thread going down in flames that I saw I should have saved face earlier.

Oh well, like I said, offseason post.

I realize this is a Tennessee Vol Forum...but seriously dude! Lane stadium is one of the loudest, toughest places to play..with a mere 66,000 capacity. So what if you think the entrance is stupid, most college football fans, including opponents love the atmosphere. It is one of the best entrances in all of football. Have a little respect for the game and opponent.

All jokes aside I don't think we should jump with them. I hate VT fans most of them had power T decals on their cars til Vick came along. Most of the ones around hear at least.

I'm sure it's wonderful. Just remember... Wake Forest isn't coming out that other tunnel.

Maybe VT should respect college football and not try to claim some piped in 25yo song is a great entrance. Fans love originality not some overcooked mess

Went to a Thursday night VT game several years ago with a friend. The entrance was pretty sweet then, but I will definitely not be jumping at Bristol.
