:banghead2: Getting fed up with his snobby OSU homering. Worse than Musberger's crush on USC. Guy was a soft player and his soft spot for the Buckeye's is bordering on obsessive. :realmad:
I remember vaguely last year one of the hosts asking him which undefeated team should now be number one, USF or some other team. Ole Robert answered Ohio State, even though it wasn't one of the choices. :banghead2:
He's a smart guy, in a snooty Tiki Barber way. Just wish he'd bring a little less a bias to the table.

Seemed like he was always injured, with nagging hamstrings and whatnot the usual culprit. At the time I wrote it off as just the unfortunate part of the grind that being an NFL running back could often be. But in his post football career, it became clear to me he didnt have a passion for the game. He was a thinker, who just happened to be physically blessed. But he didnt love football. Consider this quote.
"It definitely wore on me,'' he said. "When I thought about playing another year and sitting in that locker room again, or in meetings, I'd think, 'Man, I could be really doing something right now. I could be going out and seeing the world or doing some charity work. It seemed almost a waste of time spending my week preparing to play a game. Mentally, I didn't need all week to get ready for the game. Some people do.''
So by his own admission, he didnt give it his all.
I think he's a good guy and applaud him for addressing an issue that isnt brought up much, the over adoration of athletes and celebrities in this country. But as a football player, he was too soft for my liking. Just my 2 cents.
