I live in Nashville, and I wanna see a Vols game very bad.Id like my first to be in Knoville, and seeing the Vol Walk, and the team running thru the T.

But If I could get tickets should I go to the bowl game if we get the Music City Bowl,or wait till I can go to Neyland

Only so many Vol games. If you have the chance to see them go.

I say go to the bowl. Neyland will still have the awe factor for whenever you get to go to a game there.

Just want my first game to be the Neyland experience

Go to the bowl game; it won't take anything away from your first game at Neyland. I went to the Fiesta Bowl for the 1998 Championship and while it was a wonderful experience it did not compare to the Florida overtime victory the same year that I witnessed inside Neyland.

Go...go, and GO. Neyland is Neyland, and seeing the Vols in Nashville at the bowl won't take ANYTHING from going Neyland to see them.

For me, I'm still smarting from going to the CFA bowl when we didn't show up and got throttled by Maryland. I've been afraid to go to a bowl since. But, hey...this one isn't in Atlanta.

I agree on the NC game. Great experience and one of my happiest moments as a fan. But, game day in Knoxville is the greatest. Taz, if I were you and able, I would go to the bowl game in Nashville. It would be your first bowl game experience and one you won't forget. It's perfect for you if it is in Nashville. With the team we have now, I don't think we'll be going bowling near Nashville anytime again in the near future.

Go. You'll forget about the bowl game after your first game at Neyland stadium. I'll always remember my first one: Duke vs. TN Homecoming 1993.

firsts, are firsts... but in neyland it doesnt matter if its your seventh. the traditions will always be there. Go to the bowl... might be the only in tennessee for awhile... there will be a ton of vol fans there because its in tennessee so it will be better than just your ordinary bowl game... (unless bcs)

The highlights of 1998 and not necessarily in any particular order: (1) UT/Syracuse, (2) UT/Florida, (3) UT/Arkansas (both underfeated at the time and the Hogs lost 2 more after this, taking them out of the SEC West picture.):dance2:

Compared to the Neyland experience, LP is nothing. Go to that, it won't ruin Neyland for you, I promise.
