Should Crompton play Saturday?

Crompton has the skills, he just needs to put it all together. The game hasnt slowed down yet for him.

The fact he can't drop back without staring down his primary receiver is a deal breaker for being a successful BCS QB

The fact he has no clue how/when to check down to the run or check to another pass play is a deal breaker for being a successful BCS QB

The fact he runs directly into hard hitting defensive players when he gets loose, and then gets up and talks crap despite the fact his team is getting their azzes handed to them, is the biggest deal breaker for being a successful BCS QB.

The answer to the original question in the thread is a resounding NO

Whoever started this thread should be BANISHED! I bet he was the guy who wanted to leave Joey Stephens in also. Give me a break.

Crompton has been seen prac. with the basketball Team.

Bruce Pearl was impressed with his one handed bounce passes that would cover 20 yards!

:post-4-1090547912: what are you smoking man to make you start a thread like this? you know how people feel about crapton :bad:

If im coach Fulmer I dont even let him dress, just in case i have one of those brain farts... cant put him in if he aint there

WE can't play nobodys all the time to build his confidence. If we we ran the single wing or veer he would be great.Ask people that saw him play in high school always run first and pass as last resort.Let me know how that works in SEC He isn't Tebow the freak of nature he is just Crompton a very over rated QB

Why not to play Crompton
1. Can't HAND OFF
2. Consistently throws low.
3. Has no touch
4. Has no pocket presence
5. Has poor accuracy (high % of passes in dirt or bleachers)
6. Stares down primary receiver
7. Unable to check down through progression
8. Demonstrates poor judgement on when to throw ball away, when to tuck and run, when to slide, when to challenge a linebacker head on after you've already had a concussion a few weeks earlier.

no point in continuing

The QB that dont fumble or throw an interception should be the OB that plays.:clapping:

Cause thats the ONLY way you would think he EVER needs to see the light of day again...I guess it sounded better than in person..Same as always..missing recievers...no internal clock to beat pressure...etc...

Playing Crompton cemented the loss Saturday...
