If the reports are true then yes. Absolutely. Playing for the Vols is a privilege, not a right. There are rules to follow just like in life. Follow them or you will lose privileges.

I am gonna wait and see what happens with the actual facts, crazy I know. Hard to say what should happen without knowing all the facts.

Yes. Felony theft is not a "two or three strikes" problem. If all this is true, then yes. Absolutely he should be dismissed.

Agreed. And if the reports are true that this is a separate incident in just a few months then he clearly doesn't give a crap and this isn't going to go away with him.

it's just hard to fathom someone being so stupid that they would put themselves in this position after what happened a few weeks ago. If so, then I would say there is mental instability that needs to be addressed and he definitely needs to be gone from team.

Think about this: how do you bring in Bonner and dismiss Clear? Essentially, that amounts to kicking one guy out of the family and bringing in another who engaged in the same conduct for which you kicked your brother out.

Assuming, of course, that this is not a second offense, but merely formal charges from a previous investigation.

According to Deerpark, this is a second unrelated offense. If true, not the same scenario as Bonner's situation.

I think you could make a case for second chances if you feel the person truly understands what they did and is contrite and wants to turn his life around. But your second chances can't always be in the same place you started. That's why Bonner may be able to get another chance here but not GA, (or whereever he was before) and Clear may be able to go somewhere else if he gets himself turned around and can convince someone of that. Just like JJ did apparently, and even NuKeese? Not sure how the last one worked out.
