Shopping List App

I'm looking for a decent android app you can use for making lists or taking notes. If anyone has any suggestions?
I've been using Google Tasks for a while but I'm so tired of it randomly losing lists I've created.

I mainly just use Google Keep, but it's pretty simple and works for me (just me, I don't share lists or anything)

I know Todoist is (was?) pretty popular. just looking on the play store, this one has good ratings it seems, but I have never used it or any others that I remember - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tasks.android
