Wins, the press conference. Just listened to his interview and Butch could learn so much from by this guy. Honest about the D's shortcomings. Very natural. Not a lot of rhetoric and cliche. Self deprecating, which tends to play well with us rednecks.

Rednecks? Feeding the Vandy thought pattern huh? Speaking for a lot of alumni, we are certainly not rednecks. Personally, I like both Shop and CBJ. GBO.

The man never said all alumni were rednecks. He said the fans that are tend to respond well to a bit of honesty and self deprecation. Also, acting like Tennessee has no redneck portion to its fanbase is ridiculous. They can express their opinion like anyone else. Quit spinning words around.

Wins the press conference while his defense is a complete dumpster fire...

He sounds like a head coach...on another note, I always enjoy seeing how many responses it take before a neutral or relatively positive post goes to hell in a hand basket...which of course has ramped up sharply since UF won the east.

Neutral? Sounds like he's trashing Butch by saying "This is what a REAL coach sounds like." Who the hell cares what he says at the press conference if his defense can't stop a granny with a walker?

While I agree that the coaching staff has to bear the brunt of the blame for how the season has unfolded, they didn't play a single down. There are few clean hands on this roster, some unmotivated some under conditioned some bad attitudes some flat out quit.

Dooley was a master of press conferences, we should bring him back.
