Earn his paycheck today. I'm tired of hearing about our luck and injuries and how many points we're going to lose by. Games like this is why we brought Shoop in and he'll be the difference today. We finally have a guy that can outscheme the coaches on the other side of the field and that's huge. I hope everyone enjoys the game because WGWTFA. Vols by at least 14.

Honestly Shoop has not really been the world beating scheme master we thought up to this point. The run defense hasnt been very good. Not many sacks and pass D has been average. Injuries have been a huge part of that but Shoop has not been that impressive so far. Hopefully, he has a plan to limit TAMU offense.

what's the average points scored against us this year so far ?

I think its mid 20"s but not sure, still it seems like our defense is holding folks to a low enough score that we should be able to win. If we hold aTm to mid 20's today we will win.

No Cam, DKJ, JRM, and we are getting stops when it matters. We are 5-0 in large part because the defense has balled out when called upon.

It just feels like aTm is getting more hype than they deserve. It's annoying. They beat UCLA and Ark. Not that impressive. Watch what Bama does to Ark tonight. They were not a preseason top 25 team. I think we expose them for who they are today.

They get stops but they don't generate constant pressure like the man said before the season. He shouldn't be giving up 300 in a half either.

Shoop has been very good. Especially with adjustments.

Have they faced talent at WR like Tennessee has? They can be had through the air.

How many points did UF,VA TECH & UGA score in the 2nd half?
Now compare to last year and add in all the injuries

We have one of the worst red zone defenses. We are 58th in the country in rush defense. We are 47th in passing yards allowed. We are 40th in total defense. We rank near the bottom of the SEC in scoring defense, sacks and INTs.

But we are undefeated. We are winning but to this point, the defense has not put together a full game.

They have not. I also think with Hurd out we'll open up the throw game even more. Big day for Malone Jennings Byrd Smith PWilly Wolf etc. Dobbs should have a sore shoulder when this game is over. Im telling you guys that we will win big today.

This. I was at the UF game and we dominated the second half. I had a little bourbon in me but I don't remember them doing anything until their garbage touchdown drive in the 4th.

Today they need to contain the QB, more than sack, and make him throw. If he gets 100 yards rushing they are in trouble.

Sorry but your anaolgy is a bad one. If Alabama torches Arky, that doesnt expose them as anything except what everyone thought, a team that is not as good as the best team in the country.

Just trying to show some perspective. Their wins aren't that impressive. We've beaten better and still haven't put together a complete game.

Everyone on here was praising Shoop during the offseason and now, they question his ability to be a DC here? Our fans are bipolar as hell. Which one is it?
