Al Sharpton should dig a hole and die. There is not another person on this planet that wastes more air than him.

I doubt it had anything to do with being racist but the writer of that article needs to be a bit smarter in today's society....

I forgot about him. Both of them dabble in things they have no knowledge of. I have XM radio and I sometimes wander upon Sharpton's talk show. It is about the most angering thing you can ever listen to....besides vol calls here lately :) But seriously, I know the comments could have been worded better but Plaxico deserves what comments he gets. He gets PAID to play professional football and he cannot obide by the simple rules they give him. What is boils down to is that he is a punk. I am not a violent person at all, but putting me in a room with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson wouldn't be a wise choice.

AMEN...it would be like me (being a white male) getting offended by BET TV or Black History month. Point is, it does not effect me personally or hurt anyone. Racism will never die if people are constanly getting offended by silly things.

It's ironic that a direct symbol of hanging (the guys with the Pain in a noose on their front porch) isn't viewed as anything but a Halloween prank but using the word "noose" in a comment that has absolutely nothing to do with hanging is an outrage. What a weird world we live in.

I was about to say that myself. If that was Obama in a noose, the media (including Al Sharpton) would be all over it.

well I just had to eat my chili plain since I couldn't figure out how to order square, unleavened bread-like products to put in it without offending the drive-thru person

It is an expression I have heard and used all of my life, I never knew it was a racist statement till I moved to Ohio.
