The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns have come to an agreement on a blockbuster trade that sends Shaquille O'Neal to Cleveland to team with LeBron James, according to sources.

The deal has been agreed to in principle and is expected to be finalized Thursday, according to sources.

Cleveland will send Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to Phoenix for the future Hall of Famer. Sources said the Suns will also receive the 46th pick in Thursday's NBA draft and $500,000.

Shaq will be a good fit in Cleveland IMO, Phoenix's system IMO was too fast paced for him to really be able to do what he done in LA and Miami....I know he is getting older to be in the league but I think this was a good move for Cleveland...Also, a big play to try and keep Lebron in Cleveland after next year

I do agree the scheme in Cleveland is alot better for Shaq, but how will this move help singing Lebron long term? Considering Shaq has maybe 2 years left in the tank...

The reason I think its a move to help keep in Cleveland is Shaq IMO is what they're missing for a Championship and I think them winning a Championship is what will keep Lebron in Cleveland...Then again Lebron may be in the line of thinking after next year of "Well I got them a Championship this year, maybe its time to test the waters and see if I could do it else where"...I may be way off but that's just what I think...If Cleveland wants to stay at the top of the East they will do whatever it takes to keep him in Cleveland

Well it does look like this might be the make or break on his future in Cleveland, if its an epic fail i honestly could see him packing his bags and moving up north with Jay Z.

Without a doubt, Jigga has the money to throw at him to get him to go up there with him..I really think that if they don't get to the Finals this year and win it that he will want out of Cleveland...Didn't Cleveland let some kind of Japanese company buy into part of the team so Cleveland had some money backing them to keep him there? I thought I heard this some where but it may have just been a rumor

Before they got Shaq, they tried to convice Lebron to stay put with this wonderful tourism video showing Cleveland's many wonders..

Shaq will defintely give them that inside ame they need..

I have no eartly idea why they are worried about re-signing Varejio.. Guy is a goof..

Shaq will have played with Kobe, Wade, and LeBron. That's something that probably no one else has accomplished.

I agree whole heartedly there outside shooting is atrocious with no more acquisitions there at best 2nd or 3rd in the East (and now they have another quality foul shooter to add to the fold :eek:lol:)

Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, Tayshaun Prince, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Michael Redd, and Carmelo Anthony have as well.

What would be really cool is if Shaq won a ring with each of those three.
