Sniping at a coach after he is hired at another program is going to rub much of the profession the wrong way. He isn't even criticizing the previous coach as much as stroking his own ego about upgrading the staff by downplaying the abilities of his previous hire. Strong sign of a bad boss.

Exactly. Beamer, Napier and Stoops should all sign lifetime deals. They all seem to be having bad offseasons so far. A lot more negative publicity than anything for all 3 programs.

Beamer is awful. I hope this and other instances get brought up at other schools once he's fired from South Carolina. Someone who backstabs and throws his own staff under the bus should never be a head coach again. I'm no expert, but this is the kind of personality I would not want running my football program.

Yes, fair enough coming from a Vol... but Beamer acted half-salty, half-surprised Coley left for Georgia.

A mid-tier SEC team vs arguably the best program in the country.

Georgia where multiple position coaches (not coordinators) were awarded head coaching jobs this off season.

Much like elite players taking less NIL money to come to Georgia, Coley took a pay cut to come to Georgia.
