I'm really excited to see what Coach Pruitt does with our defense, especially with these 2 players. Everything I've seen and heard about Shamburger makes me think he can be an all world CB for us. I think Warrior has the potential to be the best safety since Eric Berry.

Thoughts?

Warrior is a pro bowl NFL player. He'll be one of the top safeties in college football next year.

I need to see more from Shamburger before I can say how good of player he is.

Sham is young. Warrior has the physicals, just needs coached properly.

Anyone else think warrior may play OLB? I think it is much less likely now that Gaulden is gone, mbut it's a thought.

He is one heck of a hitter at safety though. That kid is a baller no matter what.

I agree the sample size with Shamburger is small, but I was really impressed with how he played against Bama this year. 1st career start on the road against the best team in the country and he was one of our best defensive players that game.

Good grief. You make me want to hurt puppies sometimes. For a guy who is so wrong, so often, you sure have a massive ego.

Hmmm kinda like you need to see more from Sutton and Dobbs in the NFL before deeming them future hall of famers.

Agree that both have the potential to be very good. Shamburger definitely caught my eye.

I saw enough in college.

Josh Dobbs = Randall Cunningham
Cam Sutton = Eric Allen

Both Cunningham and Allen were Hall of Fame talents that aren't in the Hall of Fame right now because they never won the big game. I expect Dobbs and Sutton to win multiple Super Bowls so that along with being elite individual players should get them into the Hall of Fame.

Can you talk to us about your prediction for the 2017 Vols record (national championship) and pre season talent evaluation (most talented team) and then after you say “this just proves how bad of a coach CBJ was” — could you explain why you are now saying Georgia is more talented?

For the record - Cam Sutton is too fragile to have any time of long term career in the NFL. You need to factor that in.

Quick, someone let Pruitt know, d4h needs to see more out of Shamburger to proclaim him a pro bowl level CB..

Oh yea, congratations to Nigel Warrior for making d4h's pro bowl team after only two years in college. This is sure to make his draft stock rise and increase his signing bonus..

He is one heck of a hitter at safety though. That kid is a baller no matter what.

If he gained enough weight to play OLB, he would waddle onto the field.

I don't think he can at his current weight. Whether a 4-3 or a 3-4.

No chance. You want a 3-4 OLB to be around 230. Nigel is a bit shy of 200. I don't see him putting on that much weight without losing some of that speed and explosiveness.

You have no earthly idea what you’re watching when you see football players play, so I’ll not be waiting to hear the results of your “film study” on Shawn.

I imagine he would be utilized similar to Fitzpatrick.

Are you suggesting he’s “injury prone”...like Deshaun Watson? :eek:hmy:
