Only one other time in Tennessee history have the Volunteers finished with seven losses. That was 1977. We went 4-7. We've still got 2 more games for Phil to claim the worst season in Tennessee history.

I don't see us winning another game. Where are all the fulmerite defenders now?

The Negavols were saying 4-8 earlier - now I don't think the Vols will even get there.

How did it come to this, we have the talent, just boils down to coaching. Please do not go after a sub par coach or the hot coach of the week like Leech. Lets get a proven winner even if it cost 6 million a year.

Phil should be removed immediately. Two more games is more than he and his staff deserve. I don't care what he's done in the past. Find a local high school that's out of the playoffs and hire their entire staff to a 1-month contract. I'm freaking serious.

WRONG! The talent is mediocre.

Any players that want to transfer, besides Berry, be my guest. If that's all the effort I'm going to see, good riddance to you.

I've said before that this is 1988 with few if any of those 5 wins to end the season.

Does Wyoming have more talent than UT?

Did South Carolina?

No. Not even close.

This team has less talent on offense than any Vol team I have ever seen. Oh,by the way, last time I checked,UT lost to both of those teams this year.

It is obvious that we do not have the talent on the O side of the ball. Talent wise we do not compete with Florida, GA, AL, LSU. Kentucky is catching up with us, that is how bad our talent is.

sorry to say but you are wrong about the talent. no where near the talent of years past not even close.. and it begins at the qb spot. stephens and crompton both have proved they cant move this offense, put coleman in and see what he can do. offensive line is pathetic.. they have experience but experience doesnt make you good, just means your experienced. i wear my orange and i wear it proud always will.. but this team is so so hard to watch.. like watchin a pee wee league

I don't know what you are smoking, but that is completely incorrect. We have all of the same guys (except Ainge) from last year's amazing SEC east Champion (I love how we are so bad we call ourselves that now). And Jones is alot better than he was last year. So that is actually not true at all. I know you don't want to, but there's nowhere else to put the blame except on Fulmer.

Only at QB, and Crompton was more highly rated that Ainge. So on paper this years team has more talent on Offense. Another year for the SAME players to develop. The only problem is Fulmer never developed the talent. So the talent is there, we just can't use it.

Oh,I'm glad Fulmer's gone. But this lousy team is not capable of winning under any coach. Scoring only 7 points against Wyoming is a disgrace! I bet there are high school teams out there that could beat the Vols this year. We have no running or passing. Where is the talent?

i will agree to a point on the coaching. this team does not tackle well or execute offensively. i put that on the coaches. ainge was alot smarter qb, he would not take a sack .. that is why the sack total was so low last year..HE THREW THE BALL IN THE STANDS. he had all kinds of pressure on him last year, but he was smart.he would get rid of the ball. then there are your progressions. again ainge far better than crompton, who locks on one reciever and never checks down.again o-line is horrible. cannot even blow and undersized wyoming team off the ball. shall i go on. coaches cant catch the football for the recievers.. and if you argue that this set of recievers has as much talent as years past please explain

By winning %, worst football team in the modern era. It's going to be harder to land a good coach, because this is program that is at the bottom of the SEC now.
