Tough decision upcoming for Dobbs. Possible NFL 5th round pick (3rd round absolute best case) or begin grad school. Great options for a great person. We have been lucky to have him representing the Vols for the past 4 years.

Take the money and go back to grad school if it doesn't work out in the NFL/his NFL career ends.

Grad school can wait. There is no age rush for MS or PhD programs. Get the NFL experience. I think having a NFL QB on resume could also help his grad school application. I think he would get in most schools right now anyways based on his College resume too.

is projected. That's probably around 2 million coupled with a small signing bonus.

Just my guess and agree we have been fortunate to have him rep VOLS.

Having NFL QB on his resume would be huge for hiring time. A lot of schmoozing goes on in engineering. I don't think he has to worry about acceptance to grad school.

If he cannot play qb in the NFL, he might make someone a very good wr. Somewhat like Terrelle Pryor. Similiar size and Dobbs has deceptive speed.
