Is Callaway really slow? I'm not knocking the guy, he is one of my favorites on the entire team. But he is NEVER open. He makes some of the best contested catches i have ever seen but he never seems to just juke the defender and get open. I know alot of times that the balls are underthrown and he has to wait on the ball.

Most of our team is slow unfortunately.

Callaway is pretty quick. Watched him in high school. Got to get him the ball in time so he can make a move.

Calloway is fast enough with staight line speed but doesnt have that change of direction quickness with the feet to go with it. Route running is more about being able to get in and out of breaks with lighting quick feet, as much as it is with just being fast.

He has not lost a step. The kid is SEC quick. Callaway and Jennings are the only two players we have that are good.

Callaway is not incredibly fast. He’s a good receiver, but in no way is he fast.
